Awarded the LINGUA Africa Postdoctoral Fellowship — recruiting postdocs!

🎉 I have been awarded the LINGUA Africa Postdoctoral Fellowship, a collaboration between Microsoft AI for Good Lab, Google.org, the Masakhane African Languages Hub, and the Gates Foundation. I will be recruiting postdoctoral researchers to support awardees across the continent — including training and fine-tuning AI models for healthcare, education, and agriculture, developing sector-specific evaluation datasets, evaluating LLMs/SLMs/VLMs/speech models, and mentoring on responsible and inclusive AI.
